Menifee Police launched the YANA (You Are Not Alone) program recently.  This is a free service where police personnel or volunteers check on the welfare of older persons on a regular basis. Contact is made by phone and if necessary, a home visit. Per their statement, "The mission of the program is to promote security for the City of Menifee’s older adults living alone and peace of mind for their families."
